Birch Ave Radiators is owned and operated by Steve and Jan Jones.  Originally from  Chester in northwest England, the Jones Family moved to New Zealand in 2006, “for a two-year trial.”

Twelve years later Steve, his wife Jan and sons Declan and Jacob have adopted New  Zealand as their homeland and embraced the great Kiwi lifestyle in a place they call paradise.

Steve spent ten years in the pulp and paper industry in Whakatane and Kawerau but recently made some life changes which included being his own boss and working closer to home.

Steve bought Birch Ave Radiators in June 2016 and is confident his experience as a fitter turner, teacher, and mechanical maintenance engineer, together with his “there’s nothing we won’t tackle” attitude will bring a new energy and skill set to the busy radiator business.

Jan, a former pre-school teacher, helps Steve with office management and customer service and also shares his love of the Kiwi lifestyle. “Moving to New Zealand was the best thing we ever did for our family, and we’re all looking forward to this exciting new chapter.”
